175 Queen St E M5A 1S2,
Thank you henock!!!!
Food was delicious, portions were huge and the owner/server/chef was delightful. Space is small but intimate and clean. Only issue was that the owner's Son (I assume) seemed to use the restaurant as a hang out space for him and hid friends. All nice people but I found it a bit off putting. But this may be a cultural thing I'm disconnected from so I'm not deducting a star for that as it was minor. Food and service were phenomenal 👌
Incredibly smooth, delicious, flavourful. And Faisal is such a sweetheart. Thank you Enat Buna :)
The food was amazing. I love Ethiopian food and this is now one of my favorite places. The food is filling with a good variety of vegetation options, and the staff are lovely. 10/10
Phenomenal service, delicious food. Looking forward to coming back and trying the coffee ceremony next time.
Great stop for some really good Ethiopian food. The foods great but my favourite part is the service. Always a great time whenever I visit.
I walk by here while I head to the gym and decided to drop by here yesterday for a quick bite. The owner here is extremely friendly and helpful.I really enjoyed their Americano and will be coming back for more!
The food and service were ahead of our expectations. We really enjoyed the ambience of this spot. Fantastic restaurant to take my family out for lunch.
If you’re looking for authentic Ethiopian food - don’t miss this place!
Best food in the area! Great food and coffee, friendly staff and nice atmosphere
A great experience, friendly host too! Try the coffee and popcorn afterwards.
Friendly staff, delicious food.
Found this place via all the helpful reviews here already, and I was not dissapointed. It was a bit of a hike from our hotel and off for less touristy as we went, but not too bad of an area. I wasn't sure what to expect. When we walked in though just the smell of the place alone let you know it was gonna be GOOD. The people leaving as we came in said "man that was so good", so we felt set. We had the veg and meat combo and it was delicious. Barely wanted to share. The owner kept the injera coming- love that they have a gluten free option. All in all, excellent food at a great price. It's a cozy spot, welcoming and friendly. Would totally go back!
I love this place - pretty much located across from Moss Park. It is small, but cozy with a super homey atmosphere. It gives off different smells of spices and coffee beans, and you just love sitting there taking it all in. The man who served us was super nice. He brought us extra injera, napkins, and smiled at us with a twinkle in his eye. We ordered the meat and veggie platter, and it was so spice-filled, aromatic and delicious. It was more than enough for two people - we took home leftovers. Downstairs, there is a small party room for what looks like smaller events. We hope to be back soon.
I have so much love for the place, but more importantly great respect for the people who run this uniquely represenyative of The Eritrean/Ethiopian Taste: food, culture, & Coffee. As a matter of fact, not too many countries can claim that they have a unique culture, Food, language plus Alphabets, distinct clothes, d/f way of living,,,etc. In that place you feel all the above uniqueness in the most homely experience. Love the food, Amazing and Very kind hospitality and reception, I would recommend for anyone who wants to experience Eri/Ethio food in downtown Toronto!!Cheers
Phenomenal food, friendly staff... we are regulars here, we drive all the way from Hamilton. One of my favourite restaurants. Veggie platter is amazing.
Wonderful food! Great prices and large portions.
Very friendly service, great food, reasonable prices. My whole family had a great time.
It's a very unassuming little restaurant that is a hidden gem! We weren't sure we had followed the GPS correctly, and when we entered as a party of five, we weren't sure there would be room. However, the owners moved a sweet couple who appeared to be regulars and accommodated us. The food was magnificent--our first foray into Ethiopian cuisine. We are hooked! I like spicy food, and this place offers it up with aplomb. The teff bread was such a delight, and the Ethiopian spice tea took the edge off the cold weather just right. The service was very nice as well. I'm hunting for conferences in Toronto just to have the chance to go back to Enat Buna!
People here are very kind and nice, the foods are tasty. Nice Ethiopian restaurant to try.
Fortunate enough to work within walking distance of Enat Buna! Our entire office are regulars here. The food is incredibly tasty and consistently good. They have great options for vegetarians and vegans too.The service is amazing, they treat folks like family and are very accommodating. Cannot recommend enough!
I like all things service food good
One of my favorite dining experiences of my life! The owner and staff are so kind and welcoming, the decor is excellent and homely and the food is absolutely to die for! I am so happy to have found it and hope to come back soon!
Literally the best brunch I’ve ever had. The flavours, the spices, the authenticity. A true hidden gem in the city. Nothing but incredible things to say about this spot. Small and intimate with very kind owners. I’m so excited to try the rest of the menu.
Very homey. The flavors are delicious and it feels like I was invited into someone's culture rather than a restaurant. The owner is a wonderful man. My plate had both meats and vegetables. I feel the vegetables had more depth of flavor than the meats. The cabbage and split peas were definitely a favorite. I would recommend this place.
Breaking bread together fosters closeness! In this small cozy restaurant you can share a tasty -- delicious and filling -- platter with a friend or two and find that conversation is intimate and comfortable. Enjoy their vegetarian and meat delights.
Amazing family owned place, very patient with customers. And to top it all, food was fabulous. The place may not have upscale ambience but it's simplicity wins the great review
Tipped this bro extra for the good service
This was the first time I had ever tried Ethiopian cuisine, and I must say the food was amazing, and the coffee is the best I have ever had! Thank you for such a wonderful experience-look for the green storefront next time you’re in the neighbourhood :)
Lovely atmosphere. Very friendly owners. Food is tasty. Authentic. Vegan options. Fantastic price. Highly recommend.
First experience with Ethiopian food and I loved it. Host spoke enthusiastically about the coffee, food, and culture.
Really tasty vegetarian plate and filling sized portion, as well as friendly service!
Wow this place is absolutely amazing! My fiancé and I discovered this one morning and decided to try breakfast here. The owner recommended two dishes for us to try and even made us fresh coffee with beans he roasted right in front of us! The food was tasty and full of flavour. We are so happy we discovered this place - we will definitely be back. The experience was 5 stars!
Loved it ... the owner is a kind man who made us feel easy. He was especially friendly to our toddler. The food was great too!!
Attended yesterday evening with a group of about 12 for my friend's birthday. They gave us a long table downstairs in a room all to ourselves. The food was excellent and the service was beyond anything I've experienced at another restaurant. It was outstanding. From the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out, you're treated like family.Come here for the reviews, return for the excellent food and wonderful service. A real hidden gem of a place.
Very friendly atmosphere. Host Vasily is very kind. Veggie platter is amazing.
Great food, sizeable portions and very good prices. Kind of small so there may be a wait for seats if you go at peak time
Highly recommend! Enat Buna has the most exceptional service I've experienced in a while. Wonderful Ethiopian food at a reasonable price (about $14 for the veggie platter). Definitely stop by, you'll leave with a full belly and a smile on your face.
Lovely little Ethiopian restaurant right in the downtown. Delicious food and friendly people. :)
Ordered the platter and it was a wondering explosion of flavors!!! Highly recommend.
Great service, ambiance, and wonderful vegan food available. It is a little small, but makes it cosy. A downstairs is also available for overflow.
Food was good. I cant really compare as i have not eaten other Ethiopian cuisine but chicken was nicely spiced and veggie dishes were quite good. Pricewise for a 2 person platter it was ok, maybe a tad over but considering the type of cuisine no complaints. Could use some low volume background music...would be a nice addition
Delicious food ! Warm heart and soul in this place thank you !
This is a little gem. I love Ethiopian food - and at Enat each dish is carefully prepared, perfectly spiced and nicely presented. Their spicy tea pairs beautifully with the food. So pleased we found you to enjoy a lovely meal this evening. Thank you.
Deliciously flavourful Ethiopian food with generous portions at a reasonable price. Owner was also very kind and provided us with some traditional tea on the house. The restaurant is very cozy and intimate. I will absolutely return :)
Fantastic food. Best Ethiopian ever! Generous portions and warm hospitality. The music was also great.
Loved the rustic and authentic feel of the cafe. I tried a mocha here on both my visits, and it is multiple times Superior to the many coffee chains around. Mainly due to the fresh ingredients used.Of course they take time to make it, so if you are not in a hurry, do visit and experience the difference. The owners/management add a friendly personal touch to the service.
Delicious, authentic Ethiopian food served up with a smile. Much love to Enat and the crew!
Good coffee good atmosphere great food and nice staff
Came across this place from CBC Food Guide - Suresh Doss. Tried the meat & veggie platter. The combination of the dishes with injera tasted so good and the restaurant owner was also very friendly. Noted that the space isn’t big (12 seats on main floor and several additional seats downstairs) and it takes sometime if you order the Ethiopian coffee.
Excellent food and customer service.
